Thank you for the show of support @Conradicles , @boston1450 , and others. Truly guys I've been on this site for over 5 years now and love this place. The last thing I want is to get a bad reputation for being a crappy seller. Their are a lot of items I have been hesitant to sell due to condition and most members being very particular about their gear. I've tried to disclose all issues in the past and have never had an issue before selling gear here. I've made many purchases from forum members and have probably made over 40 sales to forum members with only one hiccup during these past 5 years.

I will make good on all purchases, that is a promise. My timeline for doing so is way more erratic right now than I'd like. Life is truly day to day and I am having huge $ issues which has led to the selling off of my gear. Trying to keep the lights on, cable and internet on, and avoid foreclosure are daily battles. Most of the issues were self imposed caused by poor judgement and horrible financial decisions- such as multiple title loans, payday loans, anything to keep robbing Peter to pay Paul type of foolishness.

I've had to sell a lot of gear for less than I should have just to get it to move quicker and meet the daily bill collectors and what not. So funds for shipping got used to cover other bills and I keep having to sell more stuff to ship the prior purchases. This has led to the delays in me shipping items out for purchases made this past 4-5 weeks. I am on the hot seat here and deservedly so. I am the one at fault, not the guys that paid in a timely fashion expecting to get their purchases shipped quickly.

An update of sorts and I will probably copy and paste this post and start my own thread.....

    tophatjohnny- received his jumper cables

la2vegas- got the Sonic Caps delivered

HzTweaker- I met in Asheville and delivered the SDA-CRS's.

dekuda- received the signal cable rca's

DollarDave- he got his polk emblems

MillerLightScott- received Larry's rings for Monitor 7's

02guy- I met up with him in Boone, NC and delivered the Polk Mini Monitors as well as some other goodies.

vmaxer- received the 12ax7's Fisher Tubes

Thorton- sound level meter was delivered today

vcwatkins- he received the x1-usb convertor

jwb0007- Harmony remote and 12' sub cable were shipped on Thursday and should have been received by now

DaveHo- peachtree DAC-iT was shipped and should be there today or tomorrow

SCompRacer- shipped 30' RCA's and should be there by tomorrow if not already received

kharp- Denon 2910 was shipped today and should arrive by Wednesday

    Here's the guys still waiting...

Codycatlist- mw6503 will be shipped tomorrow Powergrabbed the magnet today

pkquat- has waited a long time but I will be getting his MW6503's, Minimus 7's, and peerless tweeters out this week

Woodhead2- Still need to find box for the CS350 center hope to get it out by the end of the week

leftwinger57- I promised him some EPI badges for free. He will get them, but trying to ship to member who paid for items first.

maingey- I owe him a refund or ship the Yamaha M70 amp and he has waited the longest. We have discussed over the phone.

I am not here to screw anyone over. Most of these orders took much longer to get out than I would have liked.

Most members have been very patient and I do appreciate it. I would be upset too. My point is that I will get this stuff out. If anyone sees anything I have for sale and would be ok with it not being shipped asap please make a purchase so I can generate funds to get this other stuff out. Between donating plasma, having yard sales, doing side jobs, and my wife's paychecks everything will be delivered.

For those I have disappointed, I am sincerely sorry and ask for your forgiveness. If CP members choose to not make purchases from me due to these shipping delays that is quite understandable. My health is improving and I am busting my butt to keep generating funds to make things right.

Just work on your circumstances friend. Like we all know curve balls in life happen, sometimes in spades. I or no one else can fault you for that. Keep doing what you have to do and if you need to wait on the MW so be it. I'd much rather have a Polkie able to survive another day than a speaker driver.

@codycatalist - It will go out tomorrow bud. I used Loctite power grab today to keep the magnet from shifting during shipment. I didn't want you to wait this long and then it be frozen when you get it. I'll secure it to a board and pack with foam and get it to the post office tomorrow. You've been very patient and I needed to let others know what's going on, so it's all good.

Codycat...pm me if you need the funds until Travis can get it out. He is good people and I got his back.

I highly doubt it was the funds that was the issue. My experience has been that once you purchase something those funds are gone. Seriously doubted he was in need of funds to hold himself over. I, too, was in the same boat as codycatalist having purchased something several weeks ago and not receiving the item. Human nature is to question why. Simple communication goes a long way in preventing things like this. Once I reached out and the situation was explained my concerns were alleviated and was able to offer my concern and support.

Communication is the key. All would have been fine if you had put up a post stating that you had pneumonia and are confined to bed. I will ship out all purchased items ASAP when I can breathe again. Then this thread could have been averted.

    Hope you feel better soon.

I read the first page or so, I don't think either polkie was out of line.

Travis is a personal friend, I knew he would do right, and I think the buyer was respectful and just asking members how to proceed, and did not mention the name of seller or torch him, as many have said, just communicate, now that's happened.

I want travis to know I'm prayin for his health and that he gets the financials in order, no one needs that stress, hes a good man, and has had a lot on him with family, he and his familys health issues, and I wish him the best as do many polkies judging from their comments in this thread

Thanks @scottyboy76, I knew from reaching out to Travis that he was experiencing some health issues, however, I wasn't aware of the extent and the issues with his family. I can certainly appreciate a friend coming to the defense of another. I don't feel anything ill or negative was aimed at anyone, just some questions. I hope the best for Travis as well.

My Denon arrived today in what appears to be great shape. Didn't have time to get it in the system as I was busy putting the P5 in and connecting one sub to start. Wanted to get the break-in started. I have complete confidence that the Denon will be as described and perform well.

I hate to hear that circumstances are rough and want Travis, as well as anyone else here in the forum family, to know that I will do anything in my power to help in whatever way possible. Reaching out and asking for help can be very difficult, I know this from personal experience.

Don't let a unfortunate event in ruining the trust of one another on the for sale section of our forum l. I have to say 100% of my purchases have gone through and I'm pretty much sure the same goes for many others.

I Think communication is the key here, and if the seller has a problem with communicating with buyers that have already sent him funds he his not doing himself a favor for future success on items that he wants to sell.

I think the people who spoke out for him probably have had success purchasing items from him and are probably sure you will get your center channel. It is unfortunate that health issues have come between transactions have a little more patience. I do agree that communications between one another is best and the seller has failed to do that, and that is unacceptable if that is the case.

Well, that's certainly one way to look at things.

A while back, I bought some FX's off of HTGuru (who I haven't heard from in awhile, btw).
He lives relatively close, so we went and picked them up. When we did, he said,, "They're in good shape, I cleaned them up" (which he had) "but you may find a loose cat hair or two".
My response: "That's okay, but you're not going to charge me extra for that, are you ?". :)

That's another way to look at things.
(and an excellent opportunity to entertain oneself)

    Don't miss those opportunities. o:)

The center CS350 is being packed up today for Woodhead and will go out tomorrow. I just got internet back on yesterday and responded to his pm. I have provided my cell # to all buyers and he could have called and discussed with me at anytime. Yes my life is a figgin mess right now and things are going out slow, but every order will be fulfilled. If you choose not to purchase from me in the future so be it, I have bigger issues to deal with right now than some hurt feelings over audio gear.

Just saw this thread yesterday and came back to it. I absolutely agree with you and I've been in a bind before myself. Sometimes we have a bad year outright and it seems that you just can't get your head over the water line. Respect and communication are key. Unfortunately those were lost at some point and hostility took over (not on my part) so I don't want entertain it anymore. Definitely not about '...some hurt feelings over audio gear.' @TNHNDYMAN I do feel bad and I'm sorry things didn't work out.

Maingey's refund was sent and woodhead2's cs350 speaker was shipped today.

That one killed me. Very large center speaker, and trying to find suitable box and then b ubble wrap and 2" foam around it, the box ended up being 19x 19 x 30 and 32 lbs total.
