Purchased an MW here on the forum through a member with high post count. It's been about a month now since I sent the paypal funds and nothing has been shipped. I try to give the member some time by just checking in every two weeks, I always get a "I will ship out this week or weekend" answer but doesn't seem to pan out.
I simply want to get my SDA 2Bs back up and running but not sure if I am willing to wait much longer...

If I paid a month ago and got nothing by now I would probably have fit. Did the seller give any particular reason for the delay?

Various reasons which are ALL understandable. It's just I asked for a refund so I can purchase new from Polk so I can just get them up and running and he said no because he would get them out....last monday.Just a dude doing dude-ly things

It almost sounds like he is trying to run out the clock until it is too late to reverse the charge.
But I hope not. Especially for such a tiny amount of money.
Do you have the sellers phone number? Or is everything being done by text-tag.
I have always tried to pack and ship anything I sold within two days, and then immediately send the tracking number.
But just this year I got caught off guard. I came down with pneumonia the day before something I had up for sale, sold.
I told the buyer that I would be unable to leave the house for at least three weeks and I would be glad to refund the payment and notify him when I was back on my feet if he still wanted to buy the parts (a pair of cylinder heads)
He wanted them no matter what and said he was willing to wait. But I refunded his payment anyway. As soon as I was up and moving he sent payment again and the heads were on the way the next day. -
And Monday came and went. I would be pretty pissed. He should have gave you refund when you asked.

Once again, if the member sees this it is NOT to make them feel bad at all! I've purchased on here a few times with very fast shipping so this is just a conversation to see what you all think. I don't believe he is doing it intentionally...things happen.
Just REALLY want to get my 2Bs back up and running, might have to just purchase one from Polk directly then have that other as a backup whenever it comes. Or just call it $30 not well spent and purchase new regardless.Just a dude doing dude-ly things

Yeah I don't like how I have to initiate the conversation but whenever I message I get a reply within a day or two. Anxious I guess to get the speakers back up to snuff ever since the kitty cat tore a surround on one MW6503.

I do a lot of buying and selling as I work my way up the audio ladder. Stuff does happen, and at least he's communicating with you. But a month is unacceptable. I usually ship same day or latest the next day. I also provide my feedback from cannuck audio mart with my 100% feedback to ease the mind of the buyer.

A week maybe two, but not a month. Like @oldmodman stated, if the seller gave you a valid reason why it would take a long time and you agreed, that's one thing. To simply give the run around is just wrong.
You seem to be taking it better than me. I know that 30 bucks is not going to change your life, imagine if it had been a considerably more expensive item.

It's one thing to not ship for a day or two, or if something major happened maybe a week or two, but a month is inexcusable. I'd ask for a tracking number or your money back again - you've been more than patient enough at this point.

Guys I am the seller and have pm'd James asking to talk on phone. The driver is going out tomorrow. Yes I dropped the ball and it is a failure on my part, but life and pneumonia has really got me down for the last 3 weeks. I agree with pneumonia there is no getting out of bed. Completely understandable but I still want to exercise this wasn't supposed to be meant to vent, hurt the reputation or have any negative ripples for Travis. I just simply hadn't experienced it yet on the forum so I was turning to y'all for opinions.

It's all right guys. I'm the one to blame in this transaction and have a couple of other packages that still need to go out for a couple of forum members. Thank you for the show of support @Conradicles , @boston1450 , and others. Truly guys I've been on this site for over 5 years now and love this place. The last thing I want is to get a bad reputation for being a crappy seller. Their are a lot of items I have been hesitant to sell due to condition and most members being very particular about their gear. I've tried to disclose all issues in the past and have never had an issue before selling gear here. I've made many purchases from forum members and have probably made over 40 sales to forum members with only one hiccup during these past 5 years.
I will make good on all purchases, that is a promise. My timeline for doing so is way more erratic right now than I'd like. Life is truly day to day and I am having huge $ issues which has led to the selling off of my gear. Trying to keep the lights on, cable and internet on, and avoid foreclosure are daily battles. Most of the issues were self imposed caused by poor judgement and horrible financial decisions- such as multiple title loans, payday loans, anything to keep robbing Peter to pay Paul type of foolishness.
I've had to sell a lot of gear for less than I should have just to get it to move quicker and meet the daily bill collectors and what not. So funds for shipping got used to cover other bills and I keep having to sell more stuff to ship the prior purchases. This has led to the delays in me shipping items out for purchases made this past 4-5 weeks. I am on the hot seat here and deservedly so. I am the one at fault, not the guys that paid in a timely fashion expecting to get their purchases shipped quickly.
An update of sorts and I will probably copy and paste this post and start my own thread.....

HzTweaker- I met in Asheville and delivered the SDA-CRS's.

02guy- I met up with him in Boone, NC and delivered the Polk Mini Monitors as well as some other goodies.
vmaxer- received the 12ax7's Fisher Tubes
Thorton- sound level meter was delivered today
vcwatkins- he received the x1-usb convertor
jwb0007- Harmony remote and 12' sub cable were shipped on Thursday and should have been received by now
DaveHo- peachtree DAC-iT was shipped and should be there today or tomorrow
SCompRacer- shipped 30' RCA's and should be there by tomorrow if not already received
kharp- Denon 2910 was shipped today and should arrive by Wednesday

maingey- I owe him a refund or ship the Yamaha M70 amp and he has waited the longest. We have discussed over the phone.
I am not here to screw anyone over. Most of these orders took much longer to get out than I would have liked.
Most members have been very patient and I do appreciate it. I would be upset too. My point is that I will get this stuff out. If anyone sees anything I have for sale and would be ok with it not being shipped asap please make a purchase so I can generate funds to get this other stuff out. Between donating plasma, having yard sales, doing side jobs, and my wife's paychecks everything will be delivered.
For those I have disappointed, I am sincerely sorry and ask for your forgiveness. If CP members choose to not make purchases from me due to these shipping delays that is quite understandable.
