VG dollar vinyl. I now have masterdisk and JAMF pressings.

Great now I feel like I should throw away the two Herb Alpert records I have.
I wasn't actually making of of Herb as he is a great musician but the song Spanish Flea...hmmm not so much.
A couple years I cued up a playlist for a party and through Spanish Flea in the middle, just to watch the WTF faces when it came on...kinda changes the pace but it's funny.

Your set up would look better with some 1.2's

BlueMDPicker: I'm always looking for new, good SACD's. I'm intrigued by "Blues Guitar Boss". Would you mind giving me your views on sound quality, song selection, etc? Thanks.

@dromunds
I picked that selection up used at my friend Joe's shop (Daddy-O's in Osprey, FL) for cheap because I'm a huge admirer of Hubert. I can only play the Red Book layer because I never got into SACD.
It's a solid album as far as song selection, recorded late in his career, with the slow groove tunes "Sometimes I'm Right" and "Still Playing the Blues" as my favorites together with the upbeat "Pickin'" (instrumental) and "Blues Is Here To Stay".
Honestly, I don't know if I would purchase it at full price. The main detractors for me are the sidemen (who I think are mostly house musicians for JSP in London) and the uninspired arrangements on piano. If you ever hear Hubert's recordings with Pine Top Perkins, you'll know where I'm at with that assessment.
Hope that helps!
