    This mighta help
The highest-quality technique for drawing copper is called “Ohno Continuous Casting” or OCC. OCC copper has one grain in about 700 feet—far less than even LC copper. The audio signal travels through a continuous conductor instead of traversing grain boundaries. Because OCC is a process that can be performed on any purity of copper, not all OCC copper is equal.

On my 2.3TLs would it make sense to use the Helicon 16 from the x-overs to the drivers and tweeters but use a heavier gauge like the Supra Rondo 13 awg from the binding posts to the x-overs? Or just use the Helicon 16 for both?

I'd go heavier BP to XO - 10 ga but no smaller than 12 ga. I think even 12 ga "leave performance on the table."

The cheap AR 12 ga I used(from PE) from BP to XO to the mid/woofers soldered all the way "warmed up." my center channel considerably.

My next "time under the hood" I'm upgrading w/10 ga from Bluejeans.

Everyones definition of "budget" varies, but in what may be on the upper edge of budget as I understand it, would be Kimber PBJ and 4TC. The added value here is that these are cables that could easily grow into practically any upgrade in the future.

    Just my 2 cents.

I highly doubt the gauge is going to make any difference in such a short run... ...You won't be losing power.
*sigh* In my 36 years in this hobby gage DOES make a difference, inside and out. I've preached that almost dogmatically my ten years on this forum.

Every pair I've done, I listen* after doing one speaker. Except for my 'A1s, every time the modded speaker is louder, than the stocker.

For a subwoofer, I don't think I would advise the helicon series or a smaller gauge...
go big, 2X, 3X or go home.

...but you aren't sending hundred of watts to a single driver in this case.
The first pair I rewired, 36 years ago I used MC 12 ga & "tested*" them w/an NAD 45WPC integrated amp at a moderate volume. As I "beat the dead horse," the modded was louder.

We can't do anything about the XO's cap leads, etc. but we can go bigger everywhere else. Your RTi A series a little thin even w/an amp, get busy inside before you shop for a "warmer" amp.

You can hear a diff w/boutique cables, I'm certain you'll hear this waaay cheaper "upgrade" too.
