Concert was very good, the old man can still play....and sing too. Lots of old hippie chicks in the audience. People watching was almost as entertaining. He played about 80% hits and mixed in some blues. All in all, very enjoyable. Excellent weather too for sitting out under the stars.

I did have a "spare a square" moment later in the evening. Towards the end of the concert, I go to take a dump and after I'm done I notice no TP. Oh wtf....knock on the wall ....Hey man, you got any TP over there ? Response comes back.....Over the top. A whole roll comes flying in over the top of the divider. Thanks bro...you saved my life.

One thing caught more attention than almost the concert itself. Outside the gate where we go to smoke, amongst the Porsche's, Maserati's, Lexus, and Mercedes.....sat a 69 Olds Cutlass convertible in that blue with white interior....in mint shape with the top down. What a beautiful set of wheels. Even security was taking pics, and the bands bus drivers who parked next to these cars were coming over to take pics. I guess some never left the 70's...literally.

Must say though, Ravinia here in Chicago has pretty clean ones given the amount of people using them. No you know what all over the floor....maybe because the people who normally visit and the location dictates some reasonable expectations and behavior. Go to Cubs park or Sox park in the city, all bets are off.

Been going to Ravinia since I was a kid, place has always held itself to standards and it makes for an enjoyable experience no matter who is playing. Just a nice venue to eat/drink, listen to music and be under the stars.

No thanks, took the kids to Disney once.....that was enough for me, and my wallet.
