We thought it would be fun to reenact some famous Hollywood scenarios just for gits and shiggles. Bucket list item checked with that one. :p

Just like the previous child, sleeping here is the pits. My wife and I each have about 3 hours in the last 36.

Delivery went well. We had an entire staff waiting on us as there were no other women in the maternity ward. Last time, I had to fight to get a nurse to even walk in the room. This time we had 3 -4 nurses at all times.

We are awaiting the hospital decision to let us go home tonight but due to a missing test result, May result in us leaving in the morning.

Cabin fever has fully settled in at this point...

Congrats to the new addition to your family. I try not to remember the nights spent sleeping in the hospital. My wife actually sent me home a couple nights (from both kids). That convertible chair is not where someone with herniated disks should sleep.
Glad to hear mom and baby are doing well. Dad and sister too.

LOVE your cat's name. My all-time favorite comedy movie.

When we had our first daughter, the nurses told us to ease the transition for our dog (a black lab) in taking second seat to the new addition, that we should take the little gauze/knit beanie they put on her when she first came out home and let him get used to the 'scent'. I did that... He sniffed it... then tried to eat it. Thankfully he was the most easy-going dog with our kids and never tried to eat them.
