For sale are some preamp tubes. These have all been tested and test good in both sections most of these have little to no print left on them, some may be dirty I try not to wash my tubes because it tends to destroy what print is left. If you need or want pictures or test results of any individual tubes just ask. I write the results on the boxes so easy to see.
I have another 50 or so 12AX7 ltubes yet to be tested most are long plate halo getter types and USA made even though a few may be Japanese etc. I also have many tubes of all kinds so if you need a special output tube like a 6L6GC EL84/6BQ5 7591or rectifier tubes like 5U4Gb or 5Y3 or the like just ask.
These were tested on a Western Electric KS-15750-L1 tube tester made by Hickok very similar to a Hicok 539B.

I have 8-9 of the 6L6GC's used but test great a few 6L6G coke bottles and 10-12 NOS 6L6WGB tubes how many do you need?

Not to put a damper on the 6L6 sale. If your amp uses "GC" be sure they can also use "GB'. In my case my amp burned up a couple "GB"s because they can't stand the higher voltage "GC"s run at. But it depends on the amp and the position, some can use both.

Here are a few pics of the BP Tung-Sols and yes they are rare as hell, not much if any print or codes left on them but they have the stubby looking tops that Tung-Sols do compared to other tubes and shiny black plates compared to the dull RCA's and they look different then the shiny Raytheons that are similar.
The first picture shows what I believe are the 2 Tung-Sol black plates and a Raytheon JRP-12AX7 the second pic shows the sloppy squared off stop sign that Tung-Sol used versus the sharper one that RCA used, the 3rd pic shows the same with a grey plate Tung-Sol D getter tossed in and the 4th pic shows a grey plate Tung-Sol D getter with what I believe are the 2 Black plate Tung-Sols.

I'll compare to the ones I have at home. But IIRC the Tung Sol getters are on a short post vs. RCA which are attached to the plate tab. RCA's can have bright black plates as well as dull black too.
Again, not trying to doubt you. But they are so rare and many times I've found them to be RCA's or Sylvania's. It looks like in your photo's there is no short post for the getter???? But I can't tell in any of the photo's

Good point. The earlier 6L6WGB's could not handle the higher plate voltage however most of them made after 1984 can.Not to put a damper on the 6L6 sale. If your amp uses "GC" be sure they can also use "GB'. In my case my amp burned up a couple "GB"s because they can't stand the higher voltage "GC"s run at. But it depends on the amp and the position, some can use both.

Yes, I was thinking (because of my own situation) I had some 60's Tung Sol 6l6WGB's that couldn't handle the plate voltage of my current amp. I learned the hard way...lol.

Ok here goes the first 2 pics is of a quad of RCA bottom double D getters 3 are marked Baldwin and one is Silvertone labeled, the 3rd pic is of 2 short bottle RCA Black plate side Halo getter tubes the 4th pic is a mis matched pair of grey plate tubes labeled Peavey and Baldwinn short and tall.
