For brand new in the 500 buck range.....nothing. Aside from Emo that is but for me that pairing isn't the best with RTI's. Maybe look outside the Polk brand if you want to stick with the Emo amps and can't afford anything higher up the Polk line. Salk may offer you better sound with the Emo's than the RTI's will. Totem ....maybe Kef too.

Parasound 2250 v2. At $1400, it'll have you begging for mercy.

Are you absoloutly sure this is going to work with the RTi's and for the future and what ever that holds? I just got back from house shopping and instead of 16 months I probably have more like 36 months to get a new house %^( so I am about to pull the trigger on a new amp. Hell I may end up getting the LSi's too.

Does it HAVE to be new? A pair of SDA's or upper echelon of RTA's will beat the RTiA's out in music. Suppose it really depends on your tastes but many agree.

They've had two that I know of, seems safe to assume there may be another in the future.

Wait til it arrives...hook that thing up to your mains...shut the rest off and let it loose...you'll then understand why I covet my Parasound HCA-1200II :)

It's here I am trying to set it up now.

Working on it, I have to take lots of breaks getting on the floor is killing me. I am lucky that I figured out how to make space for it although it is sticking out 3 inches.
