PSW350 has no power. Took back plate off and found fuse blown. Replaced fuse and briefly plugged in and sub made loud hum with power switch off. Also smelled component hot. Not sure which component. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Hello,
Thanks for using the Forum for service help. It would be best to remove the bass amplifier from the sub-woofer's cabinet. As you did to check the fuse, remove the screws holding the amplifier's input plate onto the back of the cabinet. Disconnect the two wires that lead from the amplifier to the 10" woofer. Box the bass amplifier up and send it to Polk Audio, 2550 Britannia Blvd., Suite A, San Deigo, CA. 92154. Please include a brief note giving us your name, address, daytime telephone number and a copy of your sales receipt.
    Regards, Ken, Polk Audio
