The topf of my Polk RM 7200 subwoofer is about 3" under the bottom of my SHARP 32" TV. The two are separate by a wooden shelf.
THe screen started, a few hours after I connected the system, to develop grey spots in the lower corners, which grew larger and larger by the day. After 4 days the whole thing looked terrible. I believe the TV was permanently demagnitized. I brought it back to the dealer who gave me a new one. I plugged this second, new TV, with the subwoofer under it turned on, and after 5 seconds, the lower right corner of the TV screen started discoloring and flickering.
I shut the whole thing off before this could expand to the whole screen. Loks like the subwoofer is eating CRTs.
What can I do? THis spot is the only spot where I can out the subwoofer. ANy shielding material I can use thats effective? I read before buying this subwoofer that it was shielded.....
Thanks
