I'm not around that much either but I still pop in at least a few times a week.
This place definitely isn't the same as it's been over the years. I don't like this new layout at all but I try to get past it and just find some good conversation here and there.

I pop in and out also. If i get a email on a subject I am interested in I click on the link - not much more than that. It is sad what this place has turned into. I used to really look forward to checking in each day. There are still a lot of good members here, but nobody seems to be as active as before and the subject matter seems to be a joke now.

  • I know, when life takes ya in different directions you just have to do what ya can. This hobby and where it takes people is fun to watch. Some dive off into crazy high end gear and some (like me) keep it easy on the pocketbook, (somewhat) and if not for this forum, I know I would not be so into it. I try to check in and see what's what, so totally get it when people get wrapped up in other things. Glad to know that there are still members here that look past the BS and just hang tough! You know who you are!

I still check in, just not like it was before. I guess I will always look in but really wish the forum could be like it was before. Many of the "older" members don't post like they used to.. I have learned a lot from this site and really loved it.
