Yes, it does not as then you would also have kW from the wheels vs. motor.Originally posted by brody05
Yes the loss is the same, what I am meaning is BHP is taken at the wheels after drivetrain loss as opposed to HP at the motor.....
Anyway, it matters not.
Commodore is an old Opel name, I can still remember my grandpa having one in the 70's. Anyway, I did find this. Look for posts by Chris.Originally posted by brody05
I have looked and just cant find the Commodore being based on an Omega. From what I understand of the commodore range is that they have been around for 24 years and have always been designed and built in Australia for Australian roads (bumpy, winding ect), I cant say any more than that.

Yes, it did very well in comparison with the M5. Didn't beat it but costs considerably less. Has grunt, space and judging from the Omega platform and the articles also handles well, I would be happy to own one. As a family car next to the GT-R of course.Originally posted by brody05
Regardless, the SS I got goes very well and is rated very highly over here in both performance and handling.
If you are into performance cars, find a R32 GT-R and give it a test drive. Being in NZ you could be able to find one with low mileage for less than $15k US. That would make a perfect weekend fun car, or track vehicle if you have tracks open to public. -
