Best Center Channel match for LSi7's?
Options
Just upgraded my HiFi setup from the LSi7 to LSiM703. Going to use the 7's in my Home Theater setup, but need to add a properly matched center channel for the 7's. Any suggestions?

Or another LSi7 if it would work for your set-up.

Find a pair of LSi 9's for the front and put the 7's in the back if you have the power to drive them.My New Year's resolution is 3840 × 2160

Eh the 7s are just fine if you have a good sub.
Plus the 7s are WAY easier to mount.
I'd suggest the LSI f/x as surrounds but they are pricey compared to the 7s.
If your going 7.1 do the 7s as rear surrounds and the f/x as side surrounds."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
I like all 7's as surrounds and surround back, hell I think a 7 system with the LSIC is a complete package. Complete Synergy.Dan

Is there really much a difference between the LSiC and the LSi9? Just a larger frame on the LSiC...HiFi Setup: Luxman L-100U and T-110, Pioneer PL-516, Sony DVP-NS57P, Polk LSiM703, Polk DSW Pro 440wi

The LSi9 has a larger internal volume and the drivers aren't spaced as widely the LSiC. When I went from LSi9 to LSiC as a center channel I noticed that there was a wider horizontal dispersion of the center channel dialogue and a decrease in lower end/midbass.

I got the last of the LSi7's I needed to complete the 5.1 setup, Thanks to Ryan!
