Went to see "St. Vincent" last night, Bill Murray's new movie, which ends with Bill sitting on the porch singing along to "Shelter From The Storm." Good movie. Great song. The deputy walks on hard nails, the preacher rides a mount.

Man..I've been into that group since the early eighties...Saw them live in a little place named the Jetty in Va Beach in 90 I think it was...they tore that place up....

Seen them twice myself. Always a great show. Small venues and ticket prices you can live with. What's not to like. Same with The BoDeans.

Heck yea..now you are talking..saw the Bodeans and The Smithereens at the same venue..not at the same time though...In Norfolk,there was a barge in the Elizabeth River called the Boathouse that was famous for great shows...neither of those places exist now though...sadly ....

Was working in Waukesha, Wisconsin one time in the late 70's I think it was, and was walking around by my hotel at night and heard some band emitting from a small bar. They sounded good so I went inside and found out it was a band called the Bodeans. Pretty sure that was their home town. They quickly rocketed in popularity.
