Good Morning Chumlie thanks for the push. It's been along time since I listened to anything by S & G. I think I paid a $1 for this box set.

Pman, never knew Johnny Crawford recorded an album(s).... The Rifleman was and is one of my favorites.

    Good Morning Don,

I wish it were an original but it's not. But it is a super clean 70's ?? German import and sounds great.
He did 3 albums for Del-Fi Records

The Captivating Johnny Crawford ‎(LP) Del-Fi Records DFLP 1220 1962

    A Young Man's Fancy ‎(LP) Del-Fi Records DFLP 1223 1962

Rumors 2 versions (Two diff. covers my CD and album have the same cover)

I have 2 on CD the ones in bold print.

Bang & Olufsen Beogram 4002 going in the shop Thursday. Guy said about 2 to 3 weeks before it comes back. Finally found someone that's competent to work on it.

You guys are too much today. Mojo Hand is one of the covers on Johnny Winters' new album out tomorrow I think, maybe Steve Perry plays with him on that song, not sure. Lightning Hopkins is one of my all-time faves. This is one of my fave LPs.

Did you remember to listen to both sides at one sitting? :)

I still play "Talk to you later" a lot! 1 of my favorite from that time.

I was in my basement listening room with the door open...listening to the sda's. My 4 yr old comes in and bounces around for a minute and then leaves. Of course, I feel guilty for being home and not spending time with my joys, so I leave the tunes playing, but get up and go into the family area and sit on the floor where he has the Legos out. Expecting to play Legos with him.

Next thing I know....guess who is sitting in my listening chair grooving....while I'm playing Legos in the living room!! LOL!!

    Savoy Brown "Hellbound Train"
    6890ehxh8uan.jpeg

Brilliant. Good old "Savaloy" Brown, as we used to call them, although I don't know if you would know what a savaloy is. These guys came from an area in the London 'burbs that was about 8 miles away from where I grew up. One of the last British blues bands in an era when they were disappearing - came over here and had a lot more success.

We are listening to this right now:
