    Then it wasn't a wasted trip. Would ask how you like it, but pretty sure I know the answer. Hope you can do surround where it really shines. What was the price at the store ? I know this wasn't one of your dollar finds. Happy listening and tell the wife not to forget dog food.

    Ha! It was, then they asked for $30.00 more. I said but but that is 15-30 LPs!
    It is great no doubt. I've been listening to the RT7's and Monitor 7's 98% of the time.
    With my setup, it is sometimes too bright for my tastes! Too clear!

    NM Star Wars from the $1 section. (this one has the poster too!) Totally 1977.

    The Pines ~ Dark So Gold.............2012


    I found an unlabeled CDR among some of my things and this is it. (I can't remember who gave it to me)
    I'm enjoying it and would like to check out some of their other CD's. Anyone else have any thoughts
    they'd care to share on this band ??

    If that's The Pines I'm familiar with, it's Bo Ramsey's kid's band. Bo was the guitar player for Greg Brown and then hooked up (married?) Greg's daughter Pieta Brown. I've seen The Pines several times in concert. They are a real good indie type folkish band with some chops. I think they have around four albums in the last decade. I may have a few of their CD's I'll have to check, I'm pretty sure I have at least one other older one, the Dark So Gold must be their newest.

    This CD just keeps going so who ever burned this put more than 1 album on this CDR. I'm up to track 20 and Dark So Gold only has 10 tracks.......
