They are called stand offs. Mouser, Digikey, etc. should have them.Political Correctness'.........defined

Thanks,F1nut. Now all i have to do is measure them. Getting them from mouser.

You're better off replacing the type Polk used with real stand offs. The kind with a threaded post that attaches with screws. Make sure you use either nylon or stainless steel.Political Correctness'.........defined

Which model CRS+ do you have? Is it the 1986 model with the split crossover, or the 1987-89 with the large single board?Home Theater/2 Channel:

1989 large single board. i dont see a way to put screws in two of the stand offs. So i ordered nylon just like the ones that were in it. Thanks again for the help. Ive had these for about 6 mos. Bought off E-bay. I should have checked them out when i got them. The drivers were wired backwards and in wrong postion. One board not attached the other board is attached but conductor one side not attached to board.

That's why I asked. The single board SDAs have one standoff that slides up and snaps in between the two large inductors. You wouldn't be able to use threaded stand-offs at that location, but the other three you can.1989 large single board. i dont see a way to put screws in two of the stand offs. Thanks westmassguy, i never gave that a thought. Will do, also speaker was full of stuffing to much i think.
-
Once i get this speaker back together i will take the other one apart as one side of the inductor is disconnected from board needs soldered back on. One driver was slapping when volune was high, thats why i took them apart. i hope that the inductor is the problem. Thanks guys.

Dave
I noticed from pictures on your web site that it looked like you move all the stuffing so its only behind the drivers and tweeter's ? and no the PR's? or just to cover the crossover's ?2 ch- Polk CRS+ * Vincent SA-31MK Preamp * Vincent Sp-331 Amp * Marantz SA8005 SACD * Project Xperience Classic TT * Sumiko Blue Point #2 MC cartridge

You don't want the Dacron anywhere near the PRs. The Dacron should be rolled and placed behind the Woofers. Sometimes it extends up behind the Tweeters too, but definitely keep it away from the PassivesDave
