    Daniel Burnside RL son the middle one on this cd cover lives in town here a friend of mines sister is married to him, me and the wife met RL several times and even hung out with him a couple weeks before his passing, the stories he could tell. Rl Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, T Model Ford, The North Mississippi allstars are the best hill country blues out there. Wish I was in heaven sitting down that's were RL is now R.I.P. RL. We got invited to a show at the House Of Blues in Chicago to see RL and T model Ford met the whole family and hung out with them after the show even got to meet Buddy Guy that evening.

    It's a shame R.L. and others didn't get their full due, even John Lee Hooker. I saw John Lee Hooker at the Keystone in Berkeley in 1978 and there were maybe 30 people there. Thanks to Carlos Santana and some others who made a great effort to get behind him later in life and help produce and market his last few albums did he rise in popularity before his death. R.L. had some backing before his death also from others but most of their lives they barely got by. Same with Mississippi Fred McDowell.

    P-Man, you're the only guy I ever knew that knew who SRC was, if that's the band I'm thinking of Scott Richard Case's initials. I have the Milestones LP from which the first garage band I ever played in learned a few songs. Weren't they from Benton Harbor or one of those towns in lower Michigan? I'll have to dig out my Milestones. Made my day bro.
