via MOG:
First time I've listened to this on my main system (NAD T-778 receiver with LSi9s, LSiC, 80FX/LS rears, and HSU VTF-3 MK3 sub). This seems to be a polarizing album. People either think it is the most innovative thing Daft Punk has done, or they think it is just a disco album. I really like the music, and it is recorded really well. -

The Section ~ S/T.......1972
After leaving the west coast group The City Danny Kortchmar had settled into the security of an in-demand L.A. session musician, and along with Lee Sklar (bass), Craig Doerge (keyboards) and Russ Kunkel (drums), they formed a backup band to accompany James Taylor on his first national tour.
The band decided to stay together afterwards, calling themselves the Section, putting out three records, “The Section” 1972 and “Forward Motion” 1973 on Warner Brothers and finally “Fork It Over” 1977 on Capitol.

Alice Cooper: Billion Dollar Babies.

The Cleveland Orchestra - George Szell conducts. Vinyl from the dollar section.
Kind of a sampler.
-
From the same Vinyl run;
Ravel: daphnis and Chloe' (second suite), Rapsodie Espagnole
Arthur Rodzinski conducting the Cleveland Orchestra 1977
A CSP (Solumbia Special Products) about the thinnest LP ever attempted. Two paper plates thick.
Minty and sounds good anywho. :surprised: -
Love it to death, Alice Cooper from the wife's LP collection.
According to the sticker, she paid $1.95 at Yosemite's in Kent. (in 77-78?)
Caught in a dream then flipping to Sun Arise.
