    If your house is in flames and you run out with your left speaker, place it in the trunk wrapped in a blanket. Then, turn back to the hosue to see your wife in the window, baby in hand, screaming for help. So, you well, "I'm coming back in my love!" only to return to your vehicle with the right speaker.

    True story!!!



    Ok, maybe it isn't entirely true.

    How ironic is the thread,

    My daughter just sent me a text. Apparently, a co-worker of hers is coming over to look at my corvette that I've considered selling just to buy more gear....

    You stress over making sure that whichever speaker was the "left" speaker, always remains the left speaker. LOL Don't ask me to explain, I have no rational reasons.

    If you re-arrange the furniture in the room while the wife is at work for better acoustics. Only having to move it back before she returns.

    LOL...I actually needed my couch about a foot back from where she originally placed it, and decided to move it about an inch every couple of days. After some time she was like "Did someone move the couch?" I just kinda mumbled, but havn't moved it back and she hasn't said anthing :)

    If when purchasing a house you look at the walls to see if you can go 5.1, 7.1, etc. You check the breaker box for extra space for dedicated lines for your equipment. You debate building a wall to close off a loft so you can get proper acoustics.

    Don't close off that loft chief. You still want to retain an open feel to the home. Besides, It would make a great area for the kids to watch tv, keeping them and their peanut butter and jelly fingers off your stuff.

    LOL...I doubt the wife would go for it anyway. But where do you think I plan on putting the RTA 11TL's and maybe a pair of Maggies :wink:... I'd rather them have their hands on the Harmony remote downstairs than the Sunfire's up lol... The loft is where all the "really" good stuff will be going...
