Finally,

Im going to get my pair of sr6500, used but in good condition from a friend, can i power it with my coustic design reference 505? 50w x2 bi amp? 2amps or precision power 4200 am 4x 50w bi amp?

Will 50w x 4 be sufficient for these speaker?

Thanks

I would try both to see what sounds best to your ears. Also, try them bridged especially the PPI running 150 x 2 non bi-amped or bi-amped powering just the mids and the Coustic 50w x 2 on the tweets.

Bi-amp with the PPI. This will give you the most flexibility in tuning the tweeters independently of the mids.
