VTL MB300 Deluxe and BAT VK31 pre

Changing some things up and looking to move away from tubes for awhile.

I know I'll probably hate myself later but change is a good thing, right?

VTL MB300 deluxe monos. Have all the mods done that can be done besides upgraded binding posts. All mods were done at the factory by VTL and have their paper work to show. Mods done were MIT caps, switch for triode and tetrode listening, 6550C or KT88 tubes, Sig transformers etc. These are closer to the MB450's due to the changes.

I also have a spare set of unused 6550 Winged C tubes (16 of them) tested from Upscale Audio. I can also even include the MaxiMatcher tube tester which is normally around 600 new.

All together I would be looking to get 3500 for everything. That would be the amps with current tubes, the 16 spare tubes, and the tube tester to ensure long tube life. I would prefer to meet the buyer somewhere due not wanting to ship.

The only bad sides is the age of the amps and they do not have cages. The amps have really no feet (besides little rubber ones that don't do much) so I would suggest putting them up on footers. Also one of the amps binding post is bent a little. It still worked fine with bananas and I had been planning on redoing them but time is not in my favor.

Next would be the BAT VK31 pre amp. Have the factory tubes and another set currently in use. I can't remember what I'm currently using but sounds awesome. Will double check later.

Uses 6 6922 tubes and comes with the remote. I don't have the phono stage option as I have an outboard one.

Would like to get 1800 polkie price on that. Original box.

All prices are polkie and are firm. If paying paypal and not sending as gift add 3% for the transaction. Once again looking for more local on the amps but the pre I'm willing to ship however be warned its not light and will be fully insured.

    for now the BAT is going to be on hold for a member for demo locally.

    Amps still around. I can ship them as I have the original double boxes but I prefer not to. It wouldn't be cheap I can promise that.

    no interest in the amps? I can do a payment plan etc with someone if interested.

    Also willing to drop to 3200 if that interest anyone. just would like to keep these in the family.
