Hi everybody,
Shortly put...
I acquired a pair of TSi300 and got the sub from the promo.
I plan to gradually build a hopefully good setup according to my budget and expectations.
I am now looking for a a/v receviver.
After weeks of debates, I think I will go for Yamaha. I decided to avoid the Denon only base on the poor service I read from reviews. Anyways, I can also change my mind at the last minutes...
My readings brought me to the concept of ?clipping?, the hell is that? From what I read, general rule is to keep the volume within the ?range?. Okay...
That brings me to my following question: how mush power do I need then? Keep in mind that the room will be roughly 15x18 more or less.
The other concern I have is, despite that I will enjoy 80% of the time movies, the 20% left will be music and what I mostly listen to is techno and electronic music.
In the final, I want good sound (accurate), dont want to break my speaker and a good receiver that will fill my needs.
For the record, I am torn between Denon AVR-2113Ci and Yamaka RX-V A720. And that is before I read about clipping.
The more I read the more I am confused.

Help, advice, will be vey appreciated.

Thanks

(Forgive my bad english, second language for me)

    Thanks for commenting.
I haven't really think about future use honestly.
The 820 is quite a step on my budget.
About pre-out, should I be concern about it if I also plan to buy a turntable? I read somewhere that I will need pre-amp for it. Is it related?
