If you are close, I would ask the seller if you can come and have a look before you bid or make an offer. The worse he can say is "no" or nothing at all.

Looking at the picture of the components, if he actually uses that EQ for the SDA's, I'd say he either really likes highs or the tweeters are blown. He has the highs cranked all the way up! Or maybe he just adjusted them that way for the picture. Either way, seems like a smokin' deal! I'd check it out if I were closer... :cheesygrin: -

Yeah the Sony is a junk pile item but the Carver C-4000 and M500t amps are good buys as are the SDA's. The M500t's can go for about 300-500 each. Not sure about the C-4000 but ballpark 200, so if you have an amp already you can really cut down on the SDA's cost (assuming they work).

I will let you guys know all the details, but I did not want to ask too many questions over the phone because I did not want to clue him in that they may be something special.
