Hi All; Just heard about this blu-ray audio disc. Much less than the 3 cd set here in the states and recorded in 24 bit audio. It is available from amazon.uk for less than $21.00 shipped.

Likely the same version that is available on hdtracks to download. A lot fewer songs than the cd set.
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

It has 50 tracks. How many on the 3 CDs? When we start seeing a few more of these BR audio disks released it will be time to buy the NAD DAC with the HDMI input, and bring my Oppo 83 out of retirement. Or buy the Oppo 105 if it is able to play BR audio and send it out the analog two channel ports.

I bought mine this am. I would not be surprised if they stop shipping this to the US soon because it is in competition with HD Tracks download.

I read about this on the SH forums. There are people here in the states that have it and are listening to it.

I guess I will order it. I can play it in the HT, and Amazon is okay with returns. Although I never have returned an open BR.

Of course not. Hopefully we'll see more releases like this priced as they are, and hdtracks will be pressured to lower their outrageous prices.

I have been listening to mine. The early tracks are on par with the SACD's. The later tracks are louder and not as good sounding to me. Still a great buy for the $'s!

I listened to mine last night, actually early this morning, and I loved it. I was amazed how good it sounds, and that is with using my old Sony DA-7100ES AVR as a pre/pro. I just received my new NAD T-187 pre/pro as a replacement, but haven't hooked it up yet.

The only Stones SACD I have is the Japanese Exile On Main Street, and I felt the audio was comparable on the BR. One thing I need to figure out is how to get the Oppo 93 to select individual tracks with the remote. To move around I had to sequently move up and down track by track, which is a pain.

I have a Oppo 95. The menu on mine is 50 numbers on top right with the 3 playback options on the bottom. It was hard for me to see at first, but the number playing is flashing in a light blue. I can move through the tracks with the cursor buttons or to the bottom to select the playback format. To select the individual track to play I can also hit the goto button twice and then select the track number with the keypad and hit enter on the remote. The goto on my remote is under the key 9 and next to the key 0. I could hear absolutely no difference in the three playback modes.

Wahoo...finally arrived. Thanks for the heads up...would never have found this on my own. A bit clunky to navigate, but sounds very nice. Using a Sony BD player...

I agree. I still can't believe this isn't sold in the U.S. Must be a liberal, Euro, socialist, communist plot.
