Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Felt like working on breaking in my new cartridge for the TT so I'm digging into my collection for a few albums to relax to tonight.

I am amazed by the number of songs on this album that get radio play. I don't think there is a track off of this album I haven't heard on the radio at one time or another.

That is a great album. Currently playing a 24-bit 352.8KHz Drum and Track Disc remastered from the original Direct to Disc recordings made by Sheffield Lab, issued by First Impression Music. This will test just how good your system is and needless to say, I'm grinning from ear to ear. Man, what a clean recording. One of the best I have ever heard.

Listening to the Macon show via MOG. Allen Woody (RIP), was such a huge part of that band. Sick, sick tone and just all over the place, yet such an integral part of the feel and pace of the music.
