Vifa Ring Radiator tweeters

Anyone know if there are other speakers currently being produced that have these ring radiators? I know that Onix speaks used to but not really any other brands. Is there a reason? Would love to see other models using them.

    There are plenty of models including the likes of Sonus Faber and YG Acoustics.

    I'm surprised the .75" version, Vifa or Scanspeak brands, aren't used more often.

    I wouldn't go out of my way to demo them. Around the tweeter looks like a diffraction nightmare and those are the cheapest 1" Vifa RRs available.

    Oops was going to add Sonus Faber but missed the second post which already listed them.

    I listend to the Toy speakers yesterday and they had them. The more I listen to different speakers the more I find I like the ring tweeter. I also listened to the Martin Logan Motion 40 and the Folded Motion tweeter has a simliar some what laid back sound.

    GamuT uses them in all their series I believe. The Scanspeak version however.
