Hey fellas! Just wanted to make an introduction. Just found the Polk forum today and decided to join up. I'm currently in the process of building up a nice Polk HT/music system. I just got an Onkyo NR809 and have it bi-amped to my black RTi12s and loving it so far! Gonna be checking around for a 505 sub, CSi5, and some FXi5 surrounds as time goes on. Looking forward to some good info and discussion!

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Welcome to Club Polk!

    Looks like a nice system you're putting together. The Onkyo is a nice AVR and the Rti-12s are great floorstanders. You may want to consider adding some power up front. That Onkyo has pre-outs so you could at least add a 2 channel power amp to pump the 12s up more-they can handle more power than the Onkyo can put out and really "open" up, musically, with a good high current power amp.

    You can, of course, run them with just the Onkyo for now, though!
