Anthem TLP-1 Pre

Hey guys!
I'm currently in the market for starting a budget 2 channel system as i don't have the vast amounts of endless green that the rest of this community has :redface:
I'm looking at doing an all Anthem System (TLP-1 & PVA2 or MCA 20) as i have heard Anthem before and the reviews on this particular item all look positive. My question is how do we feel about the Anthem TLP-1 as it will essentially be the backbone for said system and the first piece i am to buy (excluding the MIT speakers cables, Aurial Thrills Interconnects, and the RTI-A5's that will be used for now until i can get new speakers?

I had my eyes on the lookout for;
Anthem Tlp-1
Parasound 2100 or P3
Nad 162 or 165

But, the Parasounds and NAD's all kept shooting up past my budget. If anyone could give me a YAY or NAY on this would be helpful. It even has a tuner...A TUNER!!...WTH is a TUNER?!?

I will be running a beginner vinyl player (Audio Technica), Musiland 02, and a cheap CD player down the road for, you guessed it, Tapes:tongue:
