POLK LSi 9:I picked up a pair of LSiM703 a couple of weeks ago so my beloved 9's have to go. Sadly they were mere weeks from getting an XO upgrade. I bought these here a few years ago...they were in great shape then and they still are today. 7/10 $400 Local only for now (DFW)

NHT-SB2: I mentioned in the thread where I bought these that they might be back up for sale soon. It's time to sell off all of my game room gear as it never gets used. I like these speakers, but I honestly haven't put 30 minutes on them. 8/10 Same price I paid: $185 shipped CONUS http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?129711-NHT-SB2-Booksehelf-Speakers-200-shipped-CONUS&highlight=NHT*

Parasound P/HP 850 Stereo Preamp The best pre you'll find for the money. This one has some road rash on the edges of the faceplate as well as a couple nicks on the corners. 5/10 $135 shipped CONUS daboyz expressed interest when I floated the idea of selling this several months back so he has dibs.

Parasound T/DQ 1600 Tuner Adequate tuner that matches the pre. Pretty good shape maybe some minor scratches. 6/10 $100 shipped CONUS

Monster HTS 2600 Great shape and does the job it's supposed to do. Not the MKII version. $125 shipped CONUS

Rotel RB-960BX Good little starter amp for someone wanting to get into separates on the cheap. 7/10 $175 shipped CONUS

Pictures to come...hopefully.

All items will be well packaged. Prices are a little lower for local pick-up.

Buy all the gear and one pair of the speakers and I'll make you a good deal.

Please express interest here before pm'ing.

Does the rotel do well at 4 ohms. Looking for an amp for my lsi9's. Is that what you used it with?

Not the best ones, but pics nonetheless.

Also added some speaker stands. Very basic stand. $25 local.

No HT bypass on the pre-.

The Rotel will power the 9's. You'd probably want to upgrade eventually, but it'd be a step-up from an AVR. It's currently hooked up to the 9's, but I mainly used it to power my outdoor speakers.

After doing some research that should have been done prior to the initial listing, I've decided that some of my prices are a little high.

    Pre-amp: $100 shipped
    Tuner: $80 shipped
    Amp: $150 shipped

Local deal: $500 for everything in the ad except the LSi 9's.

Monster is no longer for sale.

I'd love to keep this local to avoid shipping, paypal, etc. so I'll go $350 for the pre-amp, tuner, amp, NHT speakers, and the speaker stands. If you want the 9's over the NHT, make it $600.

Pre-amp is sold. Everything else still available.

If you've got an AVR with preouts and you've never had an amp, you could do worse than this Rotel as your first.

Wish I woulda caught on to Paul's little sale quicker. That Rotel is one helluva deal for somebody. I would've took it if something else didn't pop up.

    Plus, a pair of 9's for $400? That's a crazy good deal.

Another bump. I can't believe there is ZERO interest in these items. I'm fairly certain they are appropriately priced, but make an offer. Will also consider trades.

Sorry buddy, but please read the rules for selling here before trying to post. You must have 100 posts to list in the FM.

It does seem like sales have been really slow this summer. I have had to sell several items on ebay or audiogon which I would rather not do. I think the forum has been a little slow overall this summer. Hopefully it'll pick up in the fall.

I would love the NHTs back Paul, but I just can't do it!

Fully understand. I hear they are outstanding speakers. Prefer Cherry finish anyway to match the rest of my system. Thanks for prompt reply.

I'm interested in the Rotel amp. Are you firm on the price? It will power the cambridge s 30s. Is that a good match. These will be my first speakers and amp.

    thanks.

I've owned a Parasound TDQ-150 Tuner (this one's little brother) for several years and have been very happy with it. Both units have IR remote capability, which is a big deal for a tuner. I use mine in a Russound whole house audio system which does IR repeating. Nice to be able to change the station from a different room.

I paid a LOT more for my lesser tuner than the OP is asking. I'm tempted to buy it as a spare..wait..I've already got two spares!

Pretty firm on the price. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with your speakers so I can't comment. What are you using the drive them now?

Thanks rtart. It is a super unit especially for the price. Forgot about the remote capability since I didn't use it, but I do have the remote control.

Would I need a preamp with the Rotel RB-960BX? I'm currently using Polk R15 with a Sonic Impact T-amp. Looking to upgrade to a decent amp and speakers. Any suggestions on budget speakers that would go well with this?

    Thanks.

You'd have to have either a preamp or an AVR with pre-outs.

    As far as speakers...NHT SB-2:wink:

Actually not a bad choice, but in the sub $200 range check out some vintage Polks (Monitor 7, etc). I have the R50, but I've never hooked them up to this particular amp. On an Adcom 545 they came alive though.

The NH2 is a bit above my budget. What is your suggestion for a pre amp? how much do they cost usually?
