I just saw these, someone here definitely needs to grab them if they are in good shape. -
I was looking at them too. In fact I have an under the minimum reserve bid on them. I already have the CRS+ that I've had since new, and have them tl'd, upgraded etc. But, I fell in love with my friend's 1c's. I'm reading now on the sda srs2. It looks like it's the blade blade which is eligable for tl upgrade for the rdo198 tweeters. My wife would just have to deal with the additional speakers. Does anyone have any thoughts on these? Even if not in perfect shape the price seems to be a steal. It's about 4 hours drive for me, but I have friends and family I could visit to help justify the trip. Like I really need any other justification?
Anyone have thoughts on these as compared to 1c's, or even my crs+?
I would somehow incorporate my crs+ into my system, probably as rear speakers.

I have been looking a long time for a pair of sda 2.0,2.3 and or 3.1's, that were anywhere near close enough for me to get. Last year I found a pair of 2.3's located in north carolina. I offered to pay the seller to meet me at the border, but no luck. Anyway, I would think that the sda 2.0 would at least be sonically as good as 1C's. Like I said in my previous post, I would definatley get them.

The SRS 2s image better than the 1Cs with the wider mid-woofer placement like your CRS+ models. The bass extension is also a tad better than the 1Cs. At that price, if they were the later PB model they would be a steal. Since they look to be the earlier BB model, they are hampered by not being able to use monoblock amps.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

so long as I use common ground amps then, I should be ok with the blade/blade? I'm fine with that! I went ahead and snagged them, just trying to find a way to actually get them to the house. It appears that they weigh almost twice as much as the 1c studios.

RDO Tweets and Mye Spikes, member listing?SDA SRS 2.3TL's/SDA SRS 3.1TL's/SDA CRS+4.1TL's and some other stuff -
Those 3.1TL's look to be in very nice shape. However, I just hope the seller incorrectly listed the tweeters as RDO-194's. They should be RDO-198's. The frequency response will not be correct using the RDO-194's. If someone is considering these speakers they should definately verify what tweeters are in there.
Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Looks like the owner has fixed the RDO description, if the seller is a CP member, they should consider a x-over upgrade, makes for a stellar SDA speaker! IMHO of courseSDA SRS 2.3TL's/SDA SRS 3.1TL's/SDA CRS+4.1TL's and some other stuff

On second thought, that Seller has had 5 different ebay user names when you check the ID history. That makes me nervous...
