In case anyone wants a proxy bid...the Seattle Goodwill has a set of LS50's and RT400's each starting at $49.99 for the pair...up pretty soon. I doubt if I could ship but maybe if someone was going to be sliding through the area in a bit I could store them here..LMK!

Be glad you didn't win this.

I won for $46 and sent the MO as requested. Later he writes that the amp doesn't work. I said "send anyway". He says "but it's the amp". I say "yes, send as is". He says "since shipping is high, he doesn't want to take the risk". (I prepaid shipping). So I asked him to cash the MO and refund me via PP. He says he "hasn't cashed the MO and will return to me if I'll confirm the address (that's on Agon, MO, and PM envelope). So I'm out ten bucks in postage and MO refund fee, 2 trips to the PO, and will not be surprised if I don't get the MO back (sigh). Either he didn't want to complete it at the auction price or he's a dimwit, or both. Anyway, I'd avoid Eric Yu ("Yu2874" on Audiogon) (possibly "ericyu" on eBay).

Polk LSIm 703 for $800. I talked to the guy and he also has a DSW 550 for $250 and a denon receiver for $500 (I forget which model). I was going to pick up the speakers, but my dog is real sick so I am going to spend the day at the vet instead.

Emailed the Denver CRS guy and he got right back to me (45min)

he said:
Everything works. The connection cable between the two speakers isn't original, but I constructed my own and they work great.

I have had only two local inquiries for these speakers, so they're still for sale.
