Should buy the bundle and get the guy to ship it.
The CD player is neat. I`ve never seen one or even know Carver made them (or cassette decks even). -
Not sure what all the speakers are, but looks like a pretty decent package price reguardless. Are they RT800i's or RTi70's and a big center, sub, bookshelves and receiver... no affiliation

LOL... yeah, but the TFM-35 I am getting is local and I can demo before I buy it. I got burned 1 time too many on not demo'ing gear before I purchased to do it again. Unless its a forum member that is . Then I trust em without demo'ing gear. Also if a forum member heard a deal out and told me it was a good buy I would think about it, but like I said the TFM-35 is local so I hopefully will have it in a couple days to demo in my system prior to purchase.
I do still have hopes to get maybe another one or two 2 channel amps for my secondary system and some passive subs I want though...... But those will probably be sourced from trusted sources. Rather pay the extra cash for quality than get a deal to find out it needs a refurb lolThe CD player is neat. I`ve never seen one or even know Carver made them (or cassette decks even).
Yeah if I was into CD's I would go after one of his players as they can also function as a pre and have a tubed output . NooshinJohn used to have one of the single disc players and sold it to another local forum member (IndyHawg) and I have got to play with it for a week or two myself and its pretty sweet!
But I am all digital like you, and the CD player is more than I want to play given the usage I would get from it. Maybe I will get one someday to add to my secondary 2 channel system I build (which will include a Xbox, Laserdisc player, TT, etc)"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." They definately do not sound warm, but the axes do help open up the sound.
Trying to post this CL add, someone needs to jump on these ASAP

It looks like salt water or something similar on them.
Maybe they both trew them in the fish tank first! -
It's, Duh, frost, they're sitting on snow/ice. Those are Not axes, they're splitting mauls. Wood splits easier when frozen too.

Hmm those look nice, I wonder how they would compare to my Heresy II's, I have someone who wants em. I've never been lucky enough to get to hear the SDA's. -
Go for it B Run! You know what a mint pair goes for roughly so bid accordingly.

Jesus, still at 150 4 days later......
Swoop in at the last minute and get these B RUN. 150 is a steal, heck anything under 300 is a steal IIRC. Keep in mind you will need to purchase an SDA cable as these dont look to have one, but still...."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
I might have to do it, I had someone offer me $400 or $200 and a nice B&K amp for my Heresy's. If I could get em for $200 and the amp that'd be a pretty nice trade.
-
man those SDA's really are tempting.. if you get them B Run, I'd interested in hearing them at some point.Main 2ch -

Of course, i'm still making up my mind and if you snag em that's cool with me. I bought a sub and new bluray player last week so I was set on audio equipment but that's a really good deal and hard to pass up.
-
I have a business trip next week taking me through Austin and was planning on bidding on these (had sent Dskip a PM on them last night)
But, I really dont need them
They look like a great deal and don't want to run-up bid or step on fellow Polkies toes....so grabbem' guys.....please my wife :evil:would appreciate it:cheesygrin:

Dear lord SOMEONE bid on them. That's just too crazy a deal to let go.
Oh hears a deal for you headphones people:
$190 off TDK ST800 circumaural headphones, $59.99 (normally $249.99) at Newegg with coupon code EMCYTZT1762, ends 6/17.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826131005&nm_mc=EMC-EXPRESS061612&cm_mmc=EMC-EXPRESS061612-_-EMC-061612-Index-_-HeadphonesAccessories-_-26131005-L04A
I'm not much into headphones myself, but this looks like a killer bargain on some nice cans if you are. Leather and metal--don't see stuff made like that much any more. Cheapest I can find them anywhere else is $90 on eBay.
