Let's not forget Bowie's "Low". Absolutely phenominal album!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Indeed. You can tell Brian Eno had an influence on this one.

The instrumetal box has a lot of ambient music on it. "Music for airports" for example. I love his ambient stuff. Very relaxing and full of mood. You should give his ambient stuff another chance; if you haven't heard it in a while, you may like it. It is great "background" music. Disc three is phenominal!

For relaxing mood music. I like Mike Olfield. I have listened to Eno's ambient, just don't care for it. Thats the beauty of music. Just out of curiosity, have you ever heard The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.

I have not heard The Sensational Alex Harvey Band Charlie. What style of music are they?

I don't own a lot of Mike Oldfield stuff. I have "Tubular Bells" on SACD and "Crises" on CD. What of his stuff would you consider "relaxing"?

Sorry you don't like Eno's ambient stuff. It is similar to some stuff on "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" and "Low", but perhaps too much of it is well, too much of it?

Oldfiield's Ommadawn is my favorite. Alex Harvey is somewhere between T Rex, Bowie and Roxy Music.
