I bet your room is a little bit bigger now with your old speakers gone Rick.
Greg, my MFSL copy of The Yes Album will be here tomorow. Looking forward to it. May get Fragile too.
Albert King with Stevie Ray Vaughn; In Session.

Cool Charlie. You will absolutely find it one of the best sounding CD's you own. It's that good. The MFSL Fragile is very good as well, but I think The YES Album sounds better overall. I haven't heard Fragile in a while however. I may listen to it again soon. What speakers are you using in your system again?

I will ship out the Beatles MFSL Abbey Road tomorrow. Sorry for taking so long, I had to install Nero and then burn it. I have it packaged up with your address on it and just need to drop it off at the post office. Will do tomorrow.

I need to get the Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughn In Session CD/DVD set. Almost bought it a couple months ago, but still need to.

"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Yeah Charlie you should get nice sound when you play the MFSL The YES Album. Let us know what you think after you hear it. I wish you could hear it on some SDA's as the soundstage is absolutely huge!

I stumbled upon Fragile on CD for $5 in a bargain bin at BB a few weeks back, and hadn't listened to it since before selling off my vinyl collection a couple years ago. Still sounds good, but I think I've become spoiled by SACD and DVDA.

Wow just wow. I'm now a believer in spending the extra dough on MFSL cd. First impresion the packageing is 2nd to none. Now the sound. On my Grado SR80's. Neighbors are home so i can't give it a good listen loud on my speakers.
Track 1: Yours is no disgrace. Bass tracks & acoustic guitar are phenomenal.
Track 2: The Clap. Acoustic guitar sound is so natural.
Track 3: Starship trooper. Drum tracks & guitar seperation.
Track 4: I've seen all good people. Bass tracks sound like your there.
    Track 5: A venture. The PIANO !!!
Track 6: Perpetual change. The suttle guitar in the background.
These are my first impressions of this disc. So not to kiss any a$$. But Greg '' headrott '' is correct. A real bargain at Amazon for $25. From now on i will spend the extra dough for the MFSL copy if this is any indication of the differance. Once again thank you to the fine folks at CP.
Sorry GG. But i'm gonna keep hangin around. Post **** out.
Now playing Pink Floyd; Dark Side Of The Moon.

There is a SACD version of Fragile from Japan. I haven't heard it yet, but I will be getting it when I stop buying all The Doors, and Norah Jones SACD's. CDJapan carries for around $40.00. Unfortunately you won't find the SACD of Fragile for $5.00. If you buy it, let us know what you think.
