24 hours of le mans cars

I am at work watching this. I rarely ever watch these classes of cars race. So I am seeing these 3 wheeled looking cars on the track. What the heck are they? Didn't find anything on Google really.

I would guess that they are Nissan's new experimental race cars. Very cool!

The thing looks more like a Bonneville car to me.
Maybe if that'd been the car in 1955....it'd have flown clear over the crowd....instead of decapitating them!:eek: -
Le Mans is my favorite race for that reason; so many different cars and different classes all racing at the same time.

The Nissan powered Delta Wing got rear ended by the Toyota Hybrid and is out of the race.

Yeah that sucked! Just when I found out what the hell it was it got knocked out of the race. Now it's all over. And all that's left is Nascar to watch...while at work....for a 12 hour shift!
