Hey thanks for that code man I really appreciate it. I love sniping on ghost recon and the only online game that came close to it was the battlefield series but was never as gratifying.

So where do I put this code in ? and is it's multiplayer right ?

Do i go rent Splinter Cell Conviction and enter it from a sub menu on the game ?

I've been playing the beta for this on my PS3 and have really been enjoying it. So, I just went ahead and pre-ordered it on amazon. Got a $10 game credit, too. Can't wait!

Honestly, it's too fast-paced to me. It's like they took the slower Ghost Recon gameplay and tried to make it more like CoD. Still, the co-op should be good, so I'm still in. Never been much on adversarial anyway.

Since the spammer mentioned it, don't go into this game expecting it to play anything like GRAW did. It really is like GRAW and CoD had a baby, and I think that's my biggest problem so far with the beta. It is too run-and-gun and not tactical enough, or at least the people playing it aren't playing it tactically. Perhaps if you got a group of your own people and had some decent intel use, you could dominate the hell out of the multiplayer... but as it plays now, it feels like they pushed it a bit too far toward shooter territory for my tastes.

Not that it matters, 'cause I'll mostly be playing this one for the co-op.

I loved the Ghost recon for it's stealth and tactics over run and gun. I like rb6 and cod too, but I like the stealth which they lack. Ghost recon is hard to pick up but once you do it is so much better and realistic.

I can't wait to try the new one. I didn't know the beta was out, I'll try tonight.

I am traveling this week but I received an email from Amazon that it will be in my porch this morning. Way too long ago when I pre-ordered, it took away some of the excitement, hope it worths the long wait.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I was tempted to hit the midnight launch last night, but was too tired. Gonna swing by Gamestop after work today, then it's CO-OP time! The beta was great, but it's the co-op that I really love with these games, not the adversarial/team games.

Added bonus: If you pre-ordered from Gamestop and pick it up by today, you get a beta code for Far Cry 3. Can't wait to see if they fixed how horrible Far Cry 2's multiplayer was.

Well, the usual difference... There are almost 4 times as many people playing it on 360 right now (26,832 vs. 7,078). Other than that, no one can say since not many reviews have come out yet.

Well that says a lot actually. When I got the ps3 one thing I noticed was a lot less people being mic'd up which for me is a large part of the experience. In fact people logging into a game would get booted oftentimes for not having a mic.

I got my xbox working again, so I'll probably get that format. Muchas Gracias.

Played through the first 4 missions of the campaign with two friends. AWESOME! Those moments where you all line people up and pick off a group are KILLER!

Then we played a few rounds of Guerrilla mode, which I can seriously see being a major time-suck for me. Nice variation on the Horde modes we're so used to seeing now. It was too late for us to go past wave 7, but I see us going back to that tonight. LOVE IT.

So, when we tried to pick up where we left off last night, we all got the error message "Alert: You cannot join this match. The host is using content you have not yet downloaded."

Checked Ubisoft's support site and they said it's because one of us has the Rooftops map unlocked in UPlay... which none of us have unlocked. So basically, we couldn't play last night because of whatever stupid server error they're not admitting to. No one had downloaded anything different since the previous night or unlocked anything... so their excuse is total crap. Fingers crossed that it works tonight.

That's bogus and really disappointing. I've not played it much, but still enjoying it. None of my friends have it for PS3, so no coop played yet. But I caved and pre-ordered it for the PC yesterday, too.

Been enjoying it a lot. MP online is great. Horde mode or whatever they call it is pretty difficult, for me, by myself. The single player is fun to look at but the stealth plus the coordinated kills makes the campaign a little too easy. I should turn up the difficulty.

Is anyone besides me super pleased that the game asks you to install for enhanced audio? First time I've seen that in a game.

My brother and some friends play this on PC. Coming from MW2, BFBC2, and BF3, I just could not get into the game. It reminded me of Gears of War, but the controls are not as good. At least that is the best I can explain it.
