Yeah Steve you are almost "splitting hairs" there at this point. The error on the Rat Shack meter is probably +/- 1 db. Very nice looking curve. Where is the sub located? Middle wall of the room or in a corner?
Looks like you are - 8 db at 20 hz so that 20 hz tune may flatten the curve even more on the low end and give you deeper extension.
Is this a dedicated two channel rig only or will it be used for watching movies as well? -
Steve's system is two-channel only. Like Steve, I'm starting to think that if I can get two channels to sound this good, why bother with surround, unless I want to be perpetually broke.
On that 50XO setting, damn, that's like 2.5db's, +/-!

OK, you've got a great looking curve, and your stock extension is good enough for all music except true 32 foot organ.
The $1M questions: How does it sound subjectively? Do you like the quality of the bass presentation for attack, impact, speed, detail, depth, cleanliness. Does it resolve complex/difficult passages? Bottom line - is the sub "musical", has it improved your 2-channel listening experience, and is it a good value?"What we do in life echoes in eternity"

It's 2-channel only, but I do watch my DVD thru it. The SVS is in the left corner behind the left main. At first I was alittle concerned, even with the curve looking as it did at 40Hz, the sound was a little "plummy" for my liking. That's why I continued to play with the crossover. 45Hz helped a little--but still over-bloomed a bit. 50Hz is doing the trick. I'd love to hear the SVS mated with some high-quality 2-way monitors, Like the Rti6, Lsi7 or Lsi9. I think in this setup, you'd have a hell of a system. I fact I've been thinking about it myself.
