Anybody see that HBO GO is now available for the Xbox? I was pumped when I saw the icon pop up in my Xbox menu system. I immediately installed the app and pulled out my CC with complete commitment to pay whatever they were asking a month. Low and behold I discover I can't register for HBO Go unless I have a subscription to the HBO cable service? Seriously? I stream Hulu and Netflix because I hate the drivel that comes with most cable and satellite subscriptions. I stream to avoid paying the high prices for programming I don't want. I would not hesitate to pay $20 a month for all the HBO I want. What a load of garbage. I think it's great that HBO offers HBO Go free to its cable and satellite subscribers, but why not throw those who have really embraced the potential of streaming a frickin bone.

I dumped DTV almost a year ago. Between Amazon, and YT, I keep myself amused:cool:

Really enjoy HBO GO on my iPad, just wish they would update it to display out via HDMI.
