Good amp, great price. It will get you addicted to separates. It is not the end all be all, but a great way to get started. What would you be using as a preamp for this?

Nice deal!!! I am not sure but I think that Adcom was design by Nelson pass.Make it simple...Make it better!

Agreed terrible deal he should be paying at least $300.That is a horrible deal.
Yes indeed.I think that Adcom was design by Nelson pass. -
I am going to use a Harman Kardon avr 247 with it. Will that work or will I need an actual pre amp?

That will work just fine. It's one of those things that if you know for a fact you are buying equipment, and that involves an amp - get a pre. It's considered a waste to buy an AVR just to bypass the amps - but there is nothing wrong with it. Plus, you will be using the surround channels so it all works out.65" Sony X900 (XBR-65X900E)

Pretty straight forward. Use the LF/LR outputs into the amp. Then switch your speaker wires from the AVR to the amp itself. I'm not sure if any settings need to be changed with the receiver settings though. This is where the manual will come in handy.65" Sony X900 (XBR-65X900E)
