Right, but at least they all die with the same firepower regardless of level. What makes it a **** is all of the additional spawns that, uh, compliment a boss fight. 4 Armored Kantus', 4 Boomers, a smattering of others and a Brumak to deal with all at once is the tough part.

    Gears 3 is great.

What would the time commitment be to do all 50 waves? I just got done doing 24 waves and my butt is sore.

The answer is about 2 hours. Did it the other day. Got to wave 30 at 1 AM or so and just had to finish it.

We got to 49 on Horde last night and two of the guys dropped off. Sad too because we had so much firepower. Whenever we got the bonus weapons packs we just left them unopened throught the whole game. There must have been 8 or 10 weapons boxes sitting around. We restarted several times but with just a few of us we couldn't get it done. I still haven't gotten past 50.

I still haven't beaten the game yet. Well technically i did. I've been joining public campaign missions trying to get the "Complete all acts on 4player co-op" and the other day i joined one where they were beating the final boss b*tch. Still sadly, i have only beat 2 levels full with 4 people. I missing maybe one chapter per act to have everything wrapped up.

Competitive multiplayer......still not my cup of tea. Dems peeps is too good fo me.
Still haven't played Horde yet either. NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!!! First time i turned on my 360 in 2 weeks.

Been playing Beast a lot now. Actually that is a ton of fun. Better get my Gears in now. We have Skyrim coming out this week, and then Assasins Creed. I have Batman which is basically sitting unplayed and hardly have played Battlefield 3. Still a GOW fan more than anything!

I finallly got thru all 50 levels of horde, but had to invite friends over for the night and set up one system upstairs and one downstairs. Several breaks and beers later and we got thru it all. The map you pick and final bosses have a lot to do with how long it takes. Great game, starting Skyrim today.

Horde will be something I go back to from time to time, because it's fun for when you want to just screw off with your friends in co-op. I was still playing Horde in Gears 2 up until Gears 3 came out. Even though I have a ton of other games I still need to finish (Rage, Arkham City, Deus Ex, etc.), Horde mode will likely still occasionally steal me away from them.
