Just when you thought your credit cards were safe, Steam goes and has one of their badass sales. Started today and will run thru the 10th.

Ive been waiting for Wolfenstein to go on sale forever. Its been $40 for nearly 2 years but is $20 now so I picked it up along with Return to Castle Wolfenstein for $6 and the Doom 3 pack for $16. Ive already got a backlog a mile long, this aint gonna help.

Yeah, I bought TDU2 and Just Cause 2 today.

Will have to try and avoid looking at it anymore lest I'm tempted to buy something else!

I have bought Wings of Prey+DLC and Dragon Age ultimate so far. Not bad for less than $20.

hmm, I've played entire half life 2 series for xbox but never got the chance to play the original. 50 bucks for every valve game is tempting but since I already have the orange box + portal 2, not sure if its worth it.

Valve pack isn't worth it. Imo the only bit worth playing is the HL series with all the mods and graphic updates.

It's totally worth it if you don't have the games already. The HL games are good, the the Portal games are great fun and if you don't already own Portal 2 regular price on that is the price of the pack I think.

Well since I do have all the half life 2 and portal games, I guess its not worth it. So original half life only, thanks!

I went ahead about got the pack. I'd played 2 but not the expansion packs, or the expansion pack to Company of Hero's. I'm really enjoying them, and I still have Metro 2032 to look forward to. These sales are why I don't buy games anymore unless there at least 50% off, or Starcraft.

Steam SUX! I'm trying to install Orange Box on a rebuilt system, and it's saying it's already registered. When I tried to register a ticket with tech support, it said my registration name was not on file?
    F them!

Never had a problem with Steam and I've been on it since 2004 or earlier.

In other news, Bad Company 2 is only $5 and Portal 2 is 50% off today.

Never thought I'd like it , but Just Cause2 is alot fun and a nice bargain at $5 . Add a few of the weapons and vehicle DLC's ($.25 cents to$ .50 cents) and your good to go for alot of hours for your $$$ .
To note , once you get past the initial first few missions (and get to the island ,etc) , the game is alot more sandbox mode . Graphix are an nice added plus .

Almost bought Just Cause 2 since it was so dirt cheap but my backlog is way too big to justify buying any more. Maybe Ill be caught up by the time Steam has their year end blowout sale.

Perhaps you have already registered the game with Steam. Once you have done this once you don't have to use the original discs anymore. You should be able to sign into Steam, check the games list and it will show all your purchased/registered games with Steam right there. You should then be able to start downloading the game on your freshly installed system.
