So I have my 360 connected to a HDCP compliant 23" Samsung LCD (2048 x 1152) monitor via hdmi -> dvi. Just noticed that when I try to play Netflix movies, the screen goes to the giant XBOX 360 Logo and I get a "HDCP Link Not Found" message.

Though I can play netflix through my computer, I don't have it running all the time. Also, I'm pretty sure it worked fine at some point. Anyone else having any HDCP issues? Even the nVidia control panel in Win 7 is showing that my Monitor is HDCP compliant.

Not a big deal..but just doesn't make any sense.
ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place :(

Maybe what happens is the Netflix thinks when is sending the signal truth a DVI connection they think you are trying to pirate the streaming , but to tell the truth i heard more of this problem with non HDCP compliant tv`s and ppl had a way around just switching the cables from HDMI>DVI to component , but in your case its a monitor , maybe its following the same rules .

Yeah I think you are right. For whatever reason, MS doesn't think HDMI -> DVI connection is HDCP compliant enough.

Ahh okay. Well, considering all the crap they have to deal with in terms of complying with all the DRM type stuff, I'm not surprised.

I had a customer call me on this last week and I couldn't get a solution for him. He had an x360 with an Onkyo 607 receiver and a samsung TV. We installed it in December and it worked great for 2.5 months only to stop one day. I figured it was the x360/netflix but I don't know. Anyone have thoughts?
