If the foam is recent, no brainer.

Love advent tweeters and their cabinet grade enclosures.

I just bought the original advent spks. with original replacement woofers and they sound fantastic. Now these have the fried egg tweeters in em. I was really commenting on the newer wide flanged ones more.

Could be good project speakers also, to learn how to refoam woofers.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Beautiful cabinet design, mid-fi internals. Would be a great speaker to upgrade with new x/over and drivers. I have a pair that I refoamed and they sound nice (they don't hold a candle to my SDA-1Cs), def worth $50.
Life's too short too listen to bad speakers

Huge history for the foam needing to be re-done. They were my first real speakers. Not the best in the world but I can't ever see them going anywhere.

Totally depends on the price. They just might surprise you.

much thanks for opinions, just emailed the guy to see if they are still around, he seems he might be one of those guys that enjoy emailing more than getting his stuff sold.

we are snowed in right now so it would be a while before anything happens anyway.
