A buddy of mine is trying to get me to take his Adcom GFA 5500 in trade for my Outlaw M-Blocks and some other non-audio related goods. (A rather expensive mountain bike.)

Anyway, I know that the Adcom is about double the price of 2 M-Blocks but I can't see any real reason to make the swap. Anyone have any experience with the Adcom that feels it would be superior to the Outlaws for any reason.

(I'd demo the equipment except my buddy lives in FL and it would be a pain to be shipping stuff back and forth.)

Thanks for any input...

I'd keep the Outlaw gear, and tell your buddy to go jump in the lake.

    Cheers,

Keep the Outlaw M-blocks!! Not that there's any thing wrong with the Adcom, but you really wouldn't be gaining anything by making the trade.

Thanks guys. That is pretty much what I thought but just wasn't sure based the the 2x price of the Adcom.

The Outlaw amp design team has roots in SAE and GAS, so much history, and proven designs through the years - GREAT stuff.

Tell him to write his offer down on paper, cram it in his **** and set fire to it.
