i have lsi25, lsic, lsifx setup running off an rmb1075 which gives me 200wpc...i often play at reference level and dont feel my system is lacking power but would an upgrade to the rmb1095 be of any value or would i just be wasting my money? has anyone done this?

The RMB1095 sounds a lot better then the 1075. The "black" sounding back ground is the difference. I think it has to do a lot with the bigger power supply and caps. I owned the 1095 and I picked it over the 1075 due to the sound quality not the fact it has more power. It's 330 @ 4ohms.

Sell the 1075 and get the 1095 , this is not a waste of money.

    just went there...try this...

once on the Club Rotel page use the "search this forum" link. type in 1075 1095 and you should get tons of results. some are not specific discussions of these two amps, but by page 2 of the results there were some.

either way...if you are contemplating Rotel that forum has tons of great information

the only problem im seeing is that most of those guys are upgrading from 125 wpc to 200wpc because they have 8ohm speakers....im already getting 200wpc with my 4 ohm speakers so this is why im not sure how much more i need

This is a reasonable argument. I run my 4-ohm speakers on a 1075 and it sounds really good. I almost upgraded to a 1095, not for the volume, but the extra power gives it faster transients, clearer midrange, and better pitch and stability in the bass.

I didn't do it, because I am giving up 5.1 and going back to stereo.
