Had this for a short while but think I want to step it up a few notches once I decide to rebuild my setup.
Been focusing on car-audio lately so this player sees no use. I've put maybe a full movie and a half since I've owned it, and just a handful of CD's. Excellent sounding player, sounded much better than my cousins Denon DVD 39xx (can't recall the model exactly).
Asking $140.
Will come with remote and heavy stock power cord. Manual can be found online.
Local only. Sorry for the low quality pics (taken by my camera phone until I find my digital camera).

Let me add that this player provides separate 2-channel audio outputs (using Wolfson DACs), and can internally decode the newest formats and send it out over analog for those running non-HDMI equipped receivers or processors.

Edit: If someone in so-cal is interested in this, I could bring it out to Doug's house during the get together on Nov. 13th.Truck setup

I'm listening to mine in my home office at the moment. Those Wolfson DACs are nice....I use this mainly as my backup CDP using the R/L analog hookups so I can take advantage of the DACs in the machine.
It's also a very nice Blu-ray player...Excellent PQ!
Good luck with the sale Freddy!

Thanks for that
Myself (and a few others included) preferred this over the older PS3 in terms of PQ so you're right about that. An outstanding player but I just don't need it.Truck setup

Will have to pass.
Should've specified but I'd prefer something that'll push more than 400wrms@4ohms. Since that may be a bit too much to ask for, I'd go with a 2-channel amp as well so I can bi-amp my SR's

how does this compare to the Pioneer elite BDP-23fd?
The specs are nearly the same as listed on the website, other than the fact that the 51FD lacks network capabilities and has no onboard memory. As far as PQ and SQ though I think they share alot of the same circuitry or am I wrong?
Maybe it's time to research it a bit

The Elite would be better right?
Just guessing since, well it's an Elite model
Your just paying for the Elite badge. IMO the 51 and 05 are the same.
Your asking price is giving it away as well.. -

I should just raise the price then right?
Lol joking, anyway it's up here for grabs if anyone's nearby.
MAY consider shipping if someone's willing to pay for the label so I can just print and drop it off.Truck setup

I'm just saying it's a great deal and I love mine.
And typing on an IPhone sucks!! LOL!!!
Really anybody want a killer BluRay player on a budget should jump on this IMO to find a better BDP for the asking price even with shipping is a fantastic deal!!! -

I used the HDMI out to a receiver through this player and now using the multichannel analog to have it decode all lossless formats internally. The DACs are phenomenal and the sound is just fantastic. DVD upscale is also better than the PS3. This is an all-around killer player at a killer price!Let me add that this player provides separate 2-channel audio outputs (using Wolfson DACs), and can internally decode the newest formats and send it out over analog for those running non-HDMI equipped receivers or processors. -

I'd buy it, but you had to move."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Ok, here are the high-quality pics.
This is with the macro on so what you're seeing is a bit of dust since pulling it out of the box. I'd give it a 9/10 on the audiogon scale. The swirls weren't even visible (even under light) to me until I saw these pics btw
