    wow...really great deal.

But I'm a newbie, so please be patient with my questions. The add said two LSi15's for the rear and two LSIi7's for the rear surrounds.

Does that make sense? Does he mean he has no speakers set up as sides, and what he would use there he uses instead as 4 rear speakers?

It makes perfect sense: LSi 7 for Surround Back Right and Left, LSi 15 for Surround Right and Left.

    That's an awesome package indeed.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

That's the exact same set up I had a couple of years ago, except for the sub. Great deal!

    Ok...Am I being dense? The add sounds like he's got 4 LSI15's.

Two LSi15's for left and right (plus center).

Two additional LSI15's for rears plus LSi7's for rear surrounds. So he is saying for rear speakers. (no mention of side speakers).

    Right?

I remember when I was first starting to look at speakers for home theater. The one thing that stopped me from considering the LSi's was the center channel. It's probably just me, but I went and listened to it at various Fry's stores. I was trying to like it. But I never could convince myself. lol
I eventually joined the forum, and from there went the vintage route.
