Kenwood Basic M1D amp

Up for grabs is a Kenwood Basic M1D amp 125 wpc at 8 ohms 0.008 distortion. The bad news it has some marks and one of the inputs has the metal sleeve missing, The good news it works without it being there and is mainly cosmetic if one needs a cheap amp simply put a little electrical tape on it to get a nice snug fit or take the time to replace it.

The big red digital meters do work I just dont have a load on it, the nice thing about this amp is the variable gain knobs very handy if you have one speaker firther apart than the other from your sitting posistion or if your using it as a sub amp.

These seem to have been going for in the $150.00 range on Ebay recently so $75.00 + shipping and its yours.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

It's just the sleeve on the input that made me go back and edit my post (even though I COULD just put new binding posts but would it be worth it?).

How much for shipping to 93905, curious...

Oh crap... $50?! I am so fraking tempted... and yet so broke. But, I spend $50 in beer and smokes a month... so what's a month without those to have a spare amp with METERS?

But don't you live in a galaxy far, far away?

Well shipping would be rough $35.00 parcel post for a box 20 X 12 X 20 weighing 30lbs or $66.00 for priority mail from 99707 Not sure whether it would be worth the time and trouble to replace the input or not to be honest. I most lkely if I was using it and it wasnt getting moved around a lot would put a little electrical tape on it so it fits snugly and call it good. It actually works fine without the sleeve its just a little loose fitting.

I will sure but it may not be worth the shipping costs, USPS only allows priority international shipping now.

I understand hard to pay $70.00 shipping on a $50.00 item.

Okay, so it's closer to $100-150. Depending on how many campfires I attend. *sigh* really sad to have to admit that.

Anyway, what would be shipping to 18603? I'm guessing right around the $70 mark as well.

It looks like $57.00 priority mail for a box weighing 25 lbs 20 x 12 x 20 or $66.00 for a a box weighing 30 lbs the same size from looking at the manual it appears that it will be closer to 25 lbs than 30, if you want it parcel post it will be quite a bit cheaper but takes approx 3 weeks to arrive versus 3-7 days. it will be shipped in a new box and large bubble wrap that I will supply free of charge.

Snow - I realise this is still less than the eBay price, but I'll have to pass. You just need to move closer to the rest of the contiguous states! Of course, staying up North keeps you far away from pretty much any trouble down these ways.

No im not going to toss it, even though im tempted to, Someone will buy it im sure for $50.00 + shipping for a decent looking 125 wpc amp that has pretty good specs 0.008% total harmonic distortion a damping factor of 1000 a signal to noise ratio of 120db it specs out better than many more expensive amps.
