I seen some nice r50's on CL for 150 obo. I wanted to buy them to match my r20 rears and use my rta 11t's for a 2 ch setup. I was gonna try and offer him about 100 bucks to see if he takes t. he has been trying to sell them for a few weeks now. What do you think is a good price to pay for them. Thanks

I think 150 is a little steep. 100 would be ok if they are in really good shape. I use R50's as my mains, a few cheap tweaks with dynamat and mortite. I feed them 150w from my Rotel and they sound fantastic. A Very underated speaker in my opinion.

i just talked to the guy he said he would take 100 and deliver to my house. He said they are in perfect condition too. worst case if they arent as good condition as they say they are i wont buy them

Cool....if you buy them take some pics, let us know what you think. Ive found the more power you feed them the better they sound, I guess thats true with most any speaker. :p

he is bringing them to me in the morning. my receiver puts out 135w per ch so i think that should be good enough.
